Crescent's Memorable Meeting
Handley Happenings
Past Matron Jerre Miller from Handley Chapter #617. Jerre shows off her finished quilt. She was our DDGM from District 3 last year for PGM Bess Caldwell. Jerre received a quilt square from all 10 of her DGM from District 3. Thank you to all her girls for the wonderful quilt squares. Very beautiful Jerre, congratulations on a job well done!
Polytechnic Chapter and Toys for Tots
Worthy Matron Leisa Martin and Worthy Patron Dewey Teague and members from Polytechnic Chapter #420 took up a collection of toys for the Toys for Tots program. Above is a photo of the members and the representative from the United States Marine. South Fort Worth Chapter was grateful that Polytechnic asked them to help with this project.Great job! WM Leisa has decided this a project she wants her chapter to do every year.
Everman Chapter #624 Happenings
Everman Chapter #624 collected stuffed animals, tooth brushes, blankets, and toys to be used by the Fort Worth Police Department for children taken from their homes or in emergency situations. Our Worthy Matron Brenda Ruiz is very proud of her Chapter. They collected 133 packages for various ages that consisted of different items depending on the age. Ms. Morgan our contact with the Fort Worth Police Department was most appreciative for the items. Thank you Everman Chapter #624 for all the hard work collecting and putting this together. This is a great cause and you really stepped up.
